In the crowd of a host of names for elder care services, ASSISTA is a bright star. We had experienced a group of bright, dedicated professionals when in early 2020 we sought the collaboration of ASSISTA to help us out to manage our ailing mother due to old age and being all alone in Kolkata. Starting with regular visits to provide emotional support and general well-being, their able members took care of on-line ordering of medications, groceries and even paying regular bills like that for electricity etc., during the height of pandemic. Even doctor house-called in need, and at periodic intervals. Every member was improvising to tackle situations. Without ASSISTA, we, being here in Cleveland, would have been clueless to manage the situation. We are highly satisfied with the services ASSISTA provided and would recommend them for any situations.

It was March ,2021 I was startled to know the death knell of the last citadel of my life...my Mother had started ringing, since she had touched the final stage of liver cancer. I found myself suddenly thrown amidst a rough sea with no coastline. It was a crucial time as we were having a harrowing experience of unprecedented situation called Lockdown. I had contacted Assista and within two hours a bright young doctor paid a visit to see my mother. She had survived for a span of 36 days but the pain management therapy had helped her a lot I would remain forever grateful to Assista. It could be nothing better than Assista Home Care. My mother was visiting me at USA and unfortunately was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It was the most dreadful days in my life. Being the only child and with a job at USA, my sole thought was centering round the fact that who will take care of her at India. I have a wonderful extended family, but I was worried about the caregiving part. With God's grace Assista came to my rescue. It was definitely a blessing from above. Mom did not give us a lot of time before bidding goodbye, but in those 3 1/2 months Assista proved what "caregivers" mean. The junior doctors from the team visited mom, chatted with her on various topics and kept her joyful. The compassion they showed was beyond any word can explain. Staying 10,000 miles apart I was confident that my loving mother was getting the best care at home that possibly a terminally ill person can ask for. I can continue phrasing sentences for Assista thanking them for their sincerity and love. I would definitely recommend their service for all those who need healthcare support at home but specially for those who stay distance apart from their parents be in India or abroad. I feel sorry that I could not be with my mother in the last days but I felt good to think that I gave her ASSISTA. I wish the organization good luck for the wonderful work that they are doing.
